* In the past we have studied accident and crime scene investigation with a member of the PA State Police, mastered outlining as an important creative writing tool, caught the scoop on the insider intricacies of Hollywood screenwriting and learned how to develop a gritty police procedural with a master of the craft. We’ve hosted local authors and educators to bring quality content to our members, no matter where in the writing process they may be at the moment. Our events are not to be missed!

The Mary Roberts Rinehart Chapter meets at various locations in the Pittsburgh Metropolitan area, but our home base is at the Oakmont Carnegie Library. Chapter meetings are typically held on the first Saturday of the month, except in September. Can’t make it on the weekend? Don’t worry, there are plenty of other events that we take part in during the week as well!
There's plenty of reasons to join our wonderful community. Come, check us out! We look forward to welcoming you.
